Well, i got to say i didn't see any of those hunter's isle leavers or syncers in GvG for about 2 weeks now..
I would say players went on less risky stuff maybe such as codex or HA not on halls map( although i can't really prove it since i didn't meet anyone in codex or HA last 2 weeks...)... Personnaly doesn't change anything for me since i still cannot find activity in PvP, but at least there is " less " abuse..

@ Coast: Get good at logic. To make it worth your time, you need everyone on your party to run at least one alt, preferably two. And most certainly two alts per player to put 2 alt teams in if you want to achieve the fabricated 156 fame an hour you claim. You're telling me they're doing this and stopping before halls so they don't come up on observer mode? Like Anet clearly cares anymore for banning cheaters?? Wrong. They don't care if they're seen doing it..who's going to kick them out? Me and Missing HB usually have to get Grade D players in GtoB to even make a run at booting them.
Also, if you actually played the game instead of forum trolling, you'd realize Heroe's Zaishen Strong boxes are not being sold as often/if at all as much as they were a month or so ago. These are items that are a result of winning consecutively on your way to mapping through in HA. Cheaters are also greedy, like us all in game. They sell em' if they got em'. Plain and simple, you're not seeing them sold much anymore.

It's partly Anet's fault anyway. The "cheat" is countered by generating interest in the format. The more real teams the less likely the stooges will win.

Ganker provided the accounts in his syncs, he apprently has rather a lot, the lesser ones aren't banned, they tend to be in codex
i'm sure you both know about trade
not everyone is greedy
and really, again, there were syncers, and i expect there will be more, lets gather our bile and send it in their direction rather than each others

Syncers JUST popped up again yesterday. Seems to be some members of one guild that GvG's - wasn't able to kick them out due to lack of players. Up until yesterday, syncing was indefinitely on the decline.

Like i said, there's no real proof that they weren't syncing before already. I mean, they could be entering from polish district and leaving on the last map for example.
When i'm logging, i usually check observer and international. Sometimes, i do check asian districts to see if there are syncers to beat, but even if i do i'm not sure i will find the syncers( i could get in the district at same moment they entered...).
As everyone said it, the lack of players is a too big problem anyway...

Ok iv read through this entire thread,you make some valid points man but stop acting like you are gods gift to gw aka zurries little brother.
1.a run from uw-ante would net you 52 fame(around a 15-20min cycle,the time it would take to play a single underworld match vs a competent team aka 1 fame so your logic is as flawed as it could get there ).
2.Resign scripts,ever heard of them?makes dealing with alts no hassle.
3.you only see the stupid syncers who go to halls,all the smart ones map out on ante.

Hello.
You would like to see it dead, me too. But anything they could make into a 4-man(or 3-man) area would be welcome in my book. Gonna go make a suggestion for them to make CB permanent too.. no, I don't expect anyone to read it, much less implement it.. just wanna get it off my chest.

1) My logic is based on the premise of the "inconvenience" of running that many alts. Most players with half a brain would realize this. I said nothing about it being impossible but rather a massive pain in the butt to get that many alts to make it worth it. To get a full run in a DECENT amount of time, you need to make sure everyone on your team is running AT LEAST two alternate accounts.
2) Resign scripts? Most of these guys aren't using resign scripts. Why would they use a resign script when ANET has the power to read game logs which include deaths, faction accumulated and whatnot? If you think they're farming HA and opting out before Halls to avoid getting banned, then the same logic must apply to farming the maps before Halls..they would be doing everything in their power to avoid tipping off ANET and a resign script is a big red flag when 6 players are resigning every time. They usually "play out" a match for a little bit to give the illusion of playing a legitimate team instead of obvious resigns which can be picked up and recognized by ANET. Flawed logic on your part to think otherwise.
3) I've been going to tombs pretty often at various points in the day checking many districts with a friend. I have yet to see any parties forming in the last three weeks besides yesterday. That includes going to Asian Districts and all of the obscure European Districts.
4) I'm assuming this "point" is in reference to my integrated TA/HA type idea? You're talking apples and oranges. TA was severely broken to the point it was completely obliterated from the game. HA under the outlined premises could work. Many have already expressed interest both here and in game.
5) I'm not going to do any digging but one of the main reasons TA went out the door, aside from being a poor format and horribly abused, was because developers saw little to no need to have two zones that reward the same point, in this case a glad point. Do some searching around here please first before you say something dumb.
6) Codex requires 4 real afk players and 4 fake resign accounts where HA requires at least 6 real players each running at least one EXTRA account to form a zaishen team and more realistically two EXTRA accounts to be efficient like you're somehow claiming. Extremely less work than HA. You're logic is severely flawed...
7) Once again, if you're working on efficiency and not plain just waiting for that one zaishen team to come to UW, you need to que up multiple teams if you want to map fast through HA. You played tombs? Name me the guild that were notorious syncers in HA...and if you can, which I doubt you can (lol), you'll realize that each of them were running multiple accounts to make the process go faster and force a three way match in HoH if need be so they could 2v1 the real players.
As your previous posts prove, it seems you are the one unaware of game schematics. And if you want to talk about zurrie, go back over to team quitter where people will value your post, ChiSaur. Thanks.

as for 4man format,you can already play it but its down to the playerbase to sort it out instead of waiting on a group of devs who clearly are gonig to do nothing.set a day for you and friends to 4v4 scrim(i know it wont solve the hero title issue but tough luck, people wasnt happy when HB got removed along with any chance to get next ranks)

4v4 could work in an RA type format for HA. No matter where you go, you're always going to have someone cheating on some level, but 4v4 would help an influx of players to get into the play-style and keep it healthy like RA has been.
As me and Missing HB have said before, it's not about supporting or catering to today's already established PvP players but more to those of the "undecided" players who have been intimidated by PvP and are hoping to get into it. If you can attract these players, you can in turn snuff out enough interest to keep a healthy format going.

4v4 encourages a larger player base and ease of team formation. The only person not to take me seriously thus far is 1) you, who were previously banned/edited earlier in this topic for trolling and 2) ChiSaur who posted once and trolled as well.
Can we please keep this discussion productive? Would hate to see it get locked.
I think with a little tweaking (as discussed back on pages one and two), it could work. I can understand the skepticism but it's definitely not worth shooting down.
Also, I think Missing HB proposed an idea that would "consolidate" all PvP formats into one central arena/explorable area/outpost so that PvP would be more nooby friendly/accessible to the newer guys. This was also a pretty good idea.
I may agree at this time though that Anet doesn't seem to be too inclined to do too much. Reported the latest syncers about a week back, most are still playing.
